Hello,

Symantec Endpoint Protection version 11/12 does not support Linux environment. There is no Symantec Endpoint Protection for Linux.

There is Symantec Antivirus for Linux (SAVFL) which is included on the Symantec Endpoint Protection downloaded disk.

Check these Articles:

Hi,

Thank you for posting in Symantec community.

I would be glad to answer your query.

It's on the roadmap if we checked following two ideas:

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/idea/linux-unmanaged-client

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/ideas/managed-sep-client-linux

Check especially mmarfise's comment:

"Linux management via the SEPM is on our roadmap and being planned for a future release.  I will update post when more detailed information is available"

The SAVFL client cannot be managed by the SEPM, although it can report logs back to the SEPM by using SAV Reporter, which was released after SAVFL 1.0.10, but can be downloaded from the following KB article.
