  • 1.  need new license-auth.txt

    Hi,

    I think I need a new license-auth.txt. I am getting error "2708:the current license is expired - please contact support".  What must I do to get a new file?

    If your current license has expired, you need to buy a new one.  When you do, you will get a new license number to use.  You re-license PGP Command Line using your new license number, authorized user,and authorized company information.  You will also need to use the "--force" option to overwrite your existing expired license.

    What do I really need?  A new license number, or a new license-auth.txt file?  I'm not sure what I'm really looking for.

    Run

    pgp --version --verbose

    Look in the license information section.  It will tell you when your license expires.  It sounds though like you have an expired license, and need to buy a new one.  To do that, start here:
