Need to restart beremote everday at 10pm monday to friday

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I am backing up a remote agent computer which is a Linux 5.5 with BE2012. I am facing some network connection lost issues so I was going through some other forums and some of them suggested to use CRON feature in linux. I am not a full time linux admin so requesting everyone if anyone can give me exact command to add the beremote service to restart everyday at 10pm before my backup job starts.

Thank you in advance to all.

The command would actually need to be added to a script

/opt/VRTSralus/bin/VRTSralus.init restart

or

/opt/VRTSralus/bin/VRTSralus.init stop

/opt/VRTSralus/bin/VRTSralus.init start

You can first go to crontab & edit the same with below command

cd /etc

crontab -e

This will open crontab file for editing where you can schedule the above stated command by jaydeep.

*   22   *   *   * /opt/VRTSralus/bin/VRTSralus.init restart

then save the file and exit.
