  • 1.  Need SEP clean uninstall tool

    Hello,

    I need to open a support case to get the SEP clean uninstall tool for SEP 12. All of the links sent me here so I hope I'm in the right place.

    Please tell me where to go if this is the wrong place for this.

    Can you provide me with a link to where I can open a support case? I'm in Japan so I prefer to work online rather than on the phone.

    To get that Cleanwipe Utility, you will have to call symantec or log a web case.

    I have another question. I found a link to open a tech support issue, but it keeps rejecting my version number. WTF?

    Okay, I figured it out. "SEP" and "Symantec Endpoint Protection" aren't legit product names it seems. The first one I can get but it's poor web design as to why the second one didn't work. Either way, I logged my case. Thank you.

    (Of course, they could just make the product uninstall or make this tool available - would save a LOT of time, especially the former).

    you should get the cleanwipe tool if you have opened a support ticket.

    I would suggest you to follow the Manual uninstall Procedure.

    With recent launch of Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 RU3, there is a latest version of CleanWipe 12.1.3001.165_RU3_RTM.CleanWipe.zip which is now available with Symantec Technical Support.

    You may need to contact Symantec Technical Support and create a case for Latest CleanWipe Tool.
