    SYMANTEC ENDPOINT DISABLES WHEN I EITHER RESTART OR SHUTDOWN MY COMPUTER. help

    and just to be safe you are running SYMANTEC Endpoint Management (altiris) and not SYMANTEC Endpoint Protection (AntiVirus)

     what version of SYMANTEC Endpoint and what solutions you run

    and what os.

    Is it on or all pc

    I had a similar issue, which was not easily fixed.

    But just to make sure it was the same problem, you say disabled:

    - No green dot?

    or

    - No Symantec!

    When you try to lauch, it gives you an error saying the service is not started?

    * * * * *

    If it's the service not being started, I needed to go to the machine and change the Symantec Endpoint service from Manual to Automatic startup.  When this would fail to work (Error Code 5 : Access Denied) I would need to reinstall or redeploy SEP to fix the problem.
