This issue has been solved. See solution.

1 server (2 CPUs) + 2 file storage (c NDMP) + 2 tape  autoloaders with 1 drive 20 tapes and 2 drives 48 tapes (presumably will be split into two virtual libraries). all this is to FiberChannel.Cant choose solution, help please )

...doesn't give much to work with when it is put like that!

BE doesn't do virtual libraries, certainly not splitting a physical library into 2.

What EXACTLY are your options? Don't put them all into 1 line...put them into your available solutions...

If you find this is a solution, please mark it as such.

OK, but you make no sense. What are the options?

1. 1 server (2 CPUs) + 2 file storage (what? Are you backing up TO, or FROM?) + 2 tape autoloaders with 1 drive each

2. 1 server (2 CPUs) + 2 file storage (what? Are you backing up TO, or FROM?) + 2 tape autoloaders with 2 drives each

Where does fibre channel fit in? Does the media server have access to it? Will the autoloaders be FC-attached? What data do you want to backup?

2 autoloaders is overkill...a single autoloader with 2 drives would work, but split what you have into your options to make it easier...

If you find this is a solution, please mark it as such.
