Hi,

Anyone succeeded invirtualizing .net 2.0 framework? Any pointers how?

I am getting an error during virtualisation. The 1.1 framework went through fine, though.

Thank you.
Val

I haven't gotten it to work

I haven't gotten it to work either... I kept getting Error 25015 Failed to install assembly

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framwork\v2.0.50727\System.EnterpriseServices.dll

because of system error: Cannon create a file when that file already exists.

If I delete the file it says basically the same thing except that it can't find the file... I verified that I can install if I am not running SVS.

Recent builds of SVS cannot

Recent builds of SVS cannot capture .net 2.x or .net 3.x though I believe 2069 can (could be an earlier version). Since .net isn't officially supported in a layer (it's a system component and an execution environment) it's probably for the best as we don't believe it behaves properly when in a layer.

I captured successfully

I captured successfully .net 2.0 SP1 using SVS 2.0 based on Erik's suggestions.

The older 2.0 version of SVS can be downloaded here:
