This issue has been solved. See solution.
Hi ,
I have a Netbackup Enterprise Master Server running on Solaris 10 SPARC.
A month back started facing an issue while running device configuration all tape drives are showing limitations wherein the error states - no Shared Storage option license Installed.
The Tape drives are correctly detected on existing media servers.
I have attached the below snapshot for reference.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue with 6.5.4?

"no Shared Storage option license Installed."
Check/verify license keys on all media servers.
Each media server needs the following license keys:
Enterprise Server or Enterprise Client
Library Based Tape drives
Share Storage Option
Check for expired demo keys.
PS: any reason for still being on NBU 6.5 with EOSL so close?

Hi Marrianne
Thanks for your suggestions
We have close to 90 media servers connected to this Master Server.
Is there a way to identify which media server is the culprit.
Lastly if I try configuring tape drive only on the Master server I still see the same errors.

You could try 'nbemmcmd -listhosts -verbose'
The 'MachineFlags' and 'MachineState' on each media server should give an indication.
The MachineFlags has something to do with valid license keys. I have not been able to find a list and what it means, but any media server that reports something 'different' is worth investigating.

Thanks Marianne
We sought help from Symantec support based on your recommendations and got his issue fixed.
We found SSO license had expired on two media servers, hence decommissioned these and got it fixed.
