Any reason why you are still on NBU 6.5?
All support for NBU 6.x ended in Oct 2012.
(See http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH74757 )

Have you tried to restart all NBU daemons?

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bp.kill_all
(use bpps -x to check processes)
/opt/VRTSpbx/bin/vxpbx_exchanged stop
(check again with bpps -x)
/opt/VRTSpbx/bin/vxpbx_exchanged start
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bp.start_all

Post output of bppx -x

Thanks for your response!

We are in process to upgrade to 7.5 , its huge and complex envo.

ANyway I have restarted the Netbackup just after I post this question , and it worked. Not sure what was the cause of it.

Cheers!

Due to process/daemon dependancies, it is always best to restart all of NBU when issues like these are seen.
