Thanks for your fast response

Thanks for your fast response Andy,

We bought license for : Windows clients, Linux clients, SQL server DBs + Lotus domino, Netbackup servers and Rack mount servers. I added these five license to Netbackup 7.0 but in cmd I ran bpminlicense -verbose still could not see Remote Client Support feature (Feature ID = 71 Remote Client Support).

I tried to backup again failed with the same error code & message. What should I do next ? Any suggestion?

Thanks all for reading & comments on my issue,

Vic

Where did you run the bpminlicense command?

Master or Media server? Have you separate Media Server(s) in your environment?

Are there any licenses that you've omitted "activating"? Licensing Portal

We have one single server

We have one single server that act as both Master & Media server. I just added 5 licenses to the server, I do know how to activate them with Symantec, but I do not want to activate now, cause this is a temporary server for testing, not officially deployment.

My licence include:
SYMC NETBACKUP ENTERPRISE CLIENT 7.0 WIN/LNX/SOLX64 1 SERVER TIER 2 STD LIC EXPRESS BAND S [For windows]
SYMC NETBACKUP CLIENT APPLICATION AND DATABASE PACK 7.0 WIN/LNX/SOLX64 1 SERVER TIER 2 STD LIC EXPRESS BAND S
SYMC NETBACKUP STANDARD CLIENT 7.0 XPLAT 1 SERVER STD LIC EXPRESS BAND S
SYMC NETBACKUP STANDARD INFRASTRUCTURE 7.0 XPLAT 1 FRONT END TBYTE STD LIC EXPRESS BAND S
SYMC NETBACKUP ENTERPRISE CLIENT 7.0 WIN/LNX/SOLX64 1 SERVER TIER 2 STD LIC EXPRESS BAND S [For linux]

I have read many topic about this issue from this forum but they do not resolve my problem, I do not know if there is any problem with my license [ex: not support Remote Client Support ....]

Any suggestion pls,

Thank you so much.

If anything I would've thought that it would've

been included in whichever one licenses the base NetBackup - maybe worth checking with your sales guy to confirm what your licenses are allowing you access to.
