Hi,

I've created four policy for four week of the month with recurring weekday schedule to take daily backup. So week1 policy will run in first week of the month & week2 policy will run in second week of the month.

But the problem is that First week policy/backup is running with second week backup/policy, third week backup/policy is running with second week backup/policy, fourth week backup/policy si running with first week backup/policy.randomly.

Retries allowed after runday is not enabled, Any suggestion on the same.

thnx

Why don't you have just one

Why don't you have just one weekly schedule to run every week, schedule the start window to be the day you want the backup to run and set the frequency to 2 days. Do not mix your calendar-based and frequency-based schedules together....see this....Symantec Netbackup 7.0 Admin Guide vol 1....Pg 501

"Note: A policy can contain more than one schedule. However, Symantec recommends that calendar-based and frequency-based schedule types are not

mixed within the same policy. Under some conditions, schedule types that are combined in one policy can cause unexpected results."

Maybe we will understand

Maybe we will understand better if we can see your 4 policies?

Please run the following for these policies and post the output:

bppllist <policy-name> -U
