Hi,
We have installed a new Netbackup Master 7.1 in a two node VCS 6.0 cluster on a Solaris 10 T4 Server.
Our Existing clients are talking to a 6.5.4 Master. We are planning to shutdown the 6.5.4 master and powerup the 7.1 Master Server.
My query here is do we need to update all the NBU Clients host file with the physical cluster hostnames and IP addresses?

Yes, you will need to (unless you are using DNS).
Also, while connected to old Master, select all clients (or in batches of about 10) in Host Properties, then add new clustered master name as SERVER on all clients.
Once connectivity has been tested from new master to all existing clients, you can once again edit SERVER entries for all client using the new Master. Select new master name and 'Make Master'.
If you have database clients where Master name is hardcoded in backup scripts, update all scripts.

Hi Marianne
If you have database clients where Master name is hardcoded in backup scripts, update all scripts.
- Since this Netbackup is in a cluster do we need to include the physical hostnames and IP addresses of the Cluster nodes apart from the virtual hostname and IP address.

You should only need virtual hostname and IP address.
If clustered correctly, Master will initiate all comms to clients using virtual IP.
Virtual hostname in Clients' backup scripts will ensure backup request is sent to active cluster node.
