NetBackup 7.5 Conflict Media ID with Error code 96
Hi, Consultant
I have some problem with NBU 7.5 Enterprise server in AIX platform when I run backup job policy, I got error 96 with describe : ..........media found in drive 1, expected NPC007, found D001L4. How could I solve this problem?

did you run the Inventrory after changing the tapes in LIbrary?
you can do that from GUI--> right click on meida--> inventory robot.
command line .. vmupdate -rn <robot no> -rt <robot type>
if you did that already.. and still having the issue.. you may the issue with the media labels...you need to verifiy that...
if that is the case you need to re-lable the tape using the GUI or using bplable command...
but remember to uncheck the box "Verify media label before performing operation"

Did someone replace the labels on your tapes?
If so, you need to rewrite the internal tape label.
Unfreeze the tape in the Media section of the GUI, then Label it. You need to deselect the Verify tick-box.
