NetBackup 7.5 RMAN

This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi all,

 

When i create a script for ORACLE restore operation i put the option for automatic unmount/mount database, but i just get an error message.

 

 

Maybe someone have some procedure for this issue

I agree - you need to tell us more.

Show us your script and the output with exact error message.

It sounds like Oracle/rman error rather than NBU error?
We really cannot tell without any details.

You can find a sample restore script in /usr/openv/netbackup/ext/db_ext/oracle/samples/rman - see if that helps? 

Always best to work with dba with good rman knowledge.

As soon as i get to the server i will post the script and the errors

Here are the screens when we try to make the restore.

 

So i make the CHECK in the boxes for automatic offline/online state of the database, but i got the error shown in the second picture.

The error is really self-explanatory....

Best to get dba with good rman knowledge to work with you.
