NetBackup 7.5.0.4 (NetBackup 7.5 Maintenance Release 4) is now available!
I'm very pleased to announce that the next Maintenance Release for NetBackup 7.5 is now available!
NetBackup 7.5.0.4 is the fourth maintenance release for NetBackup 7.5. It is a cumulative release containing fixes and content from 7.5.0.1 through 7.5.0.3. In addition, this release contains an additional 315 fixes (bringing the total fixes in 7.5.0.4 to over 700!) including the most commonly downloaded EEBs, several customer escalations, and internal engineering defects.
The significant content of NetBackup 7.5.0.4 is:
- No new features in 7.5.0.4. However, some features that were delivered in previous maintenance releases are included:
- Solaris 11 master server, Bare Metal Restore server and OpsCenter Managed Server support – delivered in 7.5.0.3
- NetBackup for VMware on SLES – delivered in 7.5.0.2
- PureDisk seeding utility – delivered in 7.5.0.2
- Client Direct Whole Image Mode – delivered in 7.1.0.4
- Multi-process nbostpxy for Client Dedupe – delivered in 7.1.0.4

This is a MAINTENANCE Release for NetBackup (as opposed to a Release Update) - it can ONLY be applied on top of NetBackup 7.5. (If you are currently running 7.0, 7.0.1, 7.1, or 7.1.0.x, you will need to upgrade to 7.5 before you can apply 7.5.0.4.)
Please note that maintenance releases are CUMULATIVE - that means that 7.5.0.4 contains all product fixes included in 7.5.0.1, 7.5.0.2 AND 7.5.0.3. If you are currently running NetBackup 7.5, you may apply the 7.5.0.4 maintenanace release without installing 7.5.0.1 or 7.5.0.3. In fact, if you are still running NetBackup 7.5, we would HIGHLY encourage applying 7.5.0.4!
To check to see if your particular Etrack is resolved in NetBackup 7.5.0.4, please refer to these Release Notes:

The New Bullitan should be updated shortly with what items were fixed in 7.5.0.4

As always a full like fo etracks are listed in the release notes mentioned above.
I believe there may be some problems downloading the CLT pieces. (Piece 1 should definitely not be 130M, for example.) We'll work on triple checking our attachments.
Chris, please remember to update the Master Download TN: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH65429
Supporting Storage Foundation and VCS on Unix and Windows as well as NetBackup on Unix and Windows
Handy NBU Links
It looks like some links are broken on CDN, unix clients again not matching with MD5 on site. The same happened with me during the 7.5.0.3 rollout.
Hi Mouse (and everybody),
If you're still having issues could you please let us know where you're downloading from (IP would be best, but we'll settle for city or country if you don't want that public) as well as which files appear to be broken by posting a reply in this thread? We'll get them sorted.
Marianne, the master download list should be updated. Thanks for pointing that one out (again!)
Symantec: Please can you add the complete list of MD5 and SHA1 checksums to the download notes, or release notes - or something - this will save "a lot" of poeple a lot of time.
Anyway, until next time, attached are the published MD5s (caveat - some posters have already some of these may be incorrect).
The published MD5s work ok for me - except I haven't downloaded HPUX, IA, or AIX kits, so I haven't checked those.
I have downloaded the java administration console 7.5.0.4 from below link.

I tried to install the java console but I am seeing below option disabled
Install to this computer only
Thanks & Regards

is that the correct Client update package for AIX or do I have to download the entire UNIX Clients packages and extract from there? I'm installing from the base NBU7.5 AIX server/client from fileconnect but this seems to indicate server only and I need the client updates.
