Hi All,

I am going to perform oracle restoration in linux client machine. Could anyone help me by providing Oracle restore demo video.

==========================================================================

I have backed up the Oracle Database from linux client by script file. So  what is needed for restore: script or template?

You should let the DBA perform that operation unless it's for training purposes. The restore is done via a RMAN script. If you don't have a any DBA background this might be somewhat a challenge.

As per Nicolai's excellent post - rman commands are needed to restore.

These commands can be added to a restore script.
