This issue has been solved. See solution.

Consider the NBU services on the media server are down. How can i find the time in which the services were running and when did exactly went down.

Are there more thing that are related to the root cause.

Easy ! If you are using windows platform, check the application logs in event viewer.

it will log events for every service start and stop.

I have doubt in netbackup that is how to take a snapshot backup while some users are accessing ther resources .
