This issue has been solved. See solution.

Can a single library drives be shared among Backup Exec and NetBackup the same time using SSO license feature?

Also, if the above is YES, can we share a single library using NetBackup SSO and CommVault shared storage option?

No, SSO only shares drives between servers in single NBU environment, not between products.

You can share a library, providing the drives are unique to a product, and echh product cannot get at the others tapes.  I'd only recommend this on a library that can have partitions, such as the ibm 3584.

No, NBU does not interact with commvault, or commvault with NBU.

EDITTED to correct mistakes, and highlight the point Marianne made about only a single NBU environment being able to share drives.

Not even 2 NBU masters can share the same library or drives in the library.

API-type libraries such ACSLS-controlled STK/SUN libraries can be shared/accessed by different products, but dedicated drives and media need to be assigned to each product.
