Netbackup User Creation

Hi ,
In our environment I need to split the user in Netbackup. The user should have permission to see reports and activity monitor only. This is for monitoring purpose.Can you help me to create this requirement?

You can do this with the java
You can do this with the java gui. Create the users in the operating system and configure there rights in the auth.conf

You should be aware, that you can only grant full rights for the activity monitor - this includes cancelling jobs. A view-only mode is afaik not implemented. Maybe you should have a look at the NetBackup Operations Manager for your monitoring purposes.

I have not configured any users upto now in our enviroment. It does not ask any user name or password for GUI login.I am just going without any approval or authandication. Can u explain me the steps to add the logins(user list) with netbackup.
