Is it possible for you enable Circular logging on Exchange servers?
Incremental backups are not possible when Circular logging is enabled.
Please bear in mind that NBU never truncates logs. It notifies Exchange of successful backup. Exchange then needs to truncate the logs.
See this extract from the NBU for Exchange manual:
Create bpbkar log folder on all DAG members.
Check bpbkar log(s) as well as Application logs after next backup.
Supporting Storage Foundation and VCS on Unix and Windows as well as NetBackup on Unix and Windows
Handy NBU Links
The backup needs to have completed 100% succesful t truncate the logs
If any part of the backup failed then no logs would be truncated - this is why many people have several policies, one for each Storage Group, so that should one fail the others still get trunctated
For exchange itself it may take several hours before the truncation runs and all replication must be health and up to date for everything to work as it should do
Hope this helps
