This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if its possible for us to be able to see what speeds the Network Cards are set to?

Full Duplex/ 10/100 or Gigabyte? We'd like to be able to see how many of our Desktops have the wrong setting....

Tried to see if this was an additonal option to be collected by Inventory but doesnt seem to be an option...

Cheers

Should be gathered

It should be gathered by inventory, but all computers are different.  Do you see any data in the Inv_HW_Network_Adapter table in the Full Duplex column?

If not, this KB refers to WMI query custom inventory samples.  In this case, you'd run a custom inventory using the WMI scripts provided to populate a custom data class you create for speed and duplex.

Intel NIC WMI reference guide

If the CMDB doesn't contain the information and you have Intel NICs, take a look at the WMI scripts reference doc - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?strState=LIVE&DwnldID=9405

Thanks guys,

This has helped. I see Altiris 7.1 has this info built into the Inventory
