    Currently when I push out the installs there is a temporary disconnect on the client side while SEP installs.  This makes it hard for me to install the client on PCs during the day so I have to do installs in the evening.

    Is there anyway to prevent the network disconnect while the client installs?

    What is the version of SEP you are using and what are the components you are pushing to the Client?

     NO ..the temporary disconnect will be there and you cannot prevent this this is by design.  if you are using all the features of SEP.
    This temporary disconnect is due to Network Threat Protection component.When the Firewall drivers installs it gets integrated with the NIC card and at that time we get the temporary disconnect.

    So to prevent you will have to Deploy SEP without Network Threat Protection which i think won't be acceptable for you.
