Network Discovery SNMP v3

Hi
I have a strict network Policy to follow, that all Network devices are on SNMP v3.
After being told Altiris 7 would support this. I find that it only supports V1 and V2. Which for one supprises me as V3 has been the industry standard for years.
So my question is, When will Altiris support SNMP v3. Or should i knock it on the head and look for another solution.

Hello,
What is the main driver for your policy to use SNMP v3? Do you find it more reliable, is it for the security enhancements? Also, how does your company use it? Discovering network devices or for monitoring them?
