  • 1.  Network driver problem

    *In a Paula Deen voice* Hi ya'll!
     
    I am using Ghost 8, but the PC has an Intel 82566DC network. How do I create a network boot package with that driver?
     
    PS. I have never used ghost, but want to.

    I had a quick look, it seems that this uses the same DOS driver as Intel Pro 1000. Could you select that network card and try?
     
    However, Ghost 8.0 was release in 2003 so the driver comes with it is pretty old. If there are any issues could you try downloading the dos driver from intel and replacing it? I have given the instructions how to update the driver for a Broadcom card in the post https://forums.symantec.com/syment/board/message?board.id=109&message.id=3270. You can try the same thing for Intel Pro 1000. Let us know if there are any problems.
