    Hello,

    I've seen in our logs that we have errors from the scanner. How can I solve the problem.

    Network error occurred, Empty reply from server (52), check your network connection settings, check your proxy settings (if applicable), and check to ensure that port 443 (HTTPS) is open through any relevant firewalls.

    We have also the following error. But the liveupdate is working correctly,

    Network error occurred, SSL connect error (35), check your network connection settings, check your proxy settings (if applicable), and check to ensure that port 443 (HTTPS) is open through any relevant firewalls.

    Hi,

    I've some questions to help:

    First and most important: Which version are you on, less that 10.5.4?

    If yes -> http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/action-required-update-symantec-messaging-gateway-smg-1054-2016-01-31-preserve-ability-retrie

    Is the source of this error conduit?

    If yes, are your scanners getting updated - check logs, conduit, loglevel notice - you should see something like "'BrightSig3 Rules' were updated successfully." very minute or two.

    How often does this error orrur?

    I do have ssl errors 35 and 56 a view times a day on our scanners,  meaning the server at symantec does not take my requests (ssl protocol or cipher handshake errors or mtu size ...). Anyway i ignore these kind of temporary ...

    The current installed version is 10.6.1-4 and the the liveupdate is running correctly ! The many errors in the logs are not clear.
