Backup Exec 12.0 r1364, patched up to date with Live Update

I have 2 partitions on my autoloader: Slots 1-7 are for data tapes, and slot 8 is for the cleaning tape.

I changed replaced the cleaning tape and now slot 8 shows as empty.  I've inventoried, removed the partitions, unchecked then checked "Cleaning Slot", ran an "import" (not sure what that does anyway).  What else...

What is the deal here, please?

Hi

Try deleting the partition and then Inventory the Liibrary , You can recreate the partition later

What a small pain, but I got

What a small pain, but I got it working.

I manually inserted the tape into the drive, cleaned it twice.

Then I put the cleaning tape back into slot 8 of the autoloader and started up the BE services.  Right-clicked on the drive, chose clean drive.  This time the drive cleaned after being invoked by Backup Exec.  And now slot 8 is showing the cleaning tape, finally.
