<NEW> default entries in ICE templates

Just wanted to share with folks out there result from 2 day painful research.  It looks like when you create a new ICE template by default each field is filled with <NEW> entrie.  Even if no information is applicable for the field you should remove <NEW> and replace it with nothing (blank).  Otherwise it does not work.  Error messages are also misleading - not suggesting you have an issue with the template.
