I don't understand at what point you are getting the warning or what steps are you getting this at?  Can you further expand on the steps taken?

Where are you trying to save the image at?  By default the image will need to be in the express share.   If your GSS3 install is default the express share is c:\program files (x86)\altiris\express\deployment server\   If your image is not in this share it is ok but it will need to be on a share that is accesable to the PE environment that you are using.   You will need to add an additional mapped drive to point to this additional share if your image is not in the default express share.

A video of how to create an image is below.

I hope this is helpful steps to get moveing towards a resolution.  If not if you can expand on what steps you are taking and where you image is maybe a more tailored answer could be provided.

Thank you for the follow up... have followed the steps from the Symantec Link, https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/blogs/ghost-solution-suite-30-how-videos

When the schedule task starts the status just sits at "sending wake-on-lan signal" and never moves. When forcing the image to run now, manually reboot and connect to the image it fails with prior error mentioned. The image is set to save on the same server just differnet drive/partition.

Watched the video on the link you sent as well... the one thing i notice in both videos is that it either forces the computer to reboot or reboots on automation... the one we are using states "sending wake-on-lan signal" as previopusly mentioned and never progresses

Wake on Lan only works in the local subnet - if you are sending WOL packets from another subnet they will not get to the target machine unless you have a WOL repeater linking the two subnets.
