"New" links broken - going to #/new instead of #new

This issue has been solved. See solution.

Some redirect has recently broken all the "#new" links which used to take me to the new replies in a thread.

They should append "#new" onto my URL, but it is getting rewritten to "#/new" which doesn't match the anchor and I end up at the beginning of the thread instead.

I can manually edit the URL but after it takes me to the proper place, it rewrites itself again as "#/new"

I am using Firefox...Firefox 25.0, looks like.  (if that matters!)

Thanks for the heads up CRZ.

I've made the developers aware of the issue.

Same for the solution 'green-tick' in the forum list - takes you to #/comment-7digitnumber & not #comment-7digitnumber

We've just pushed code to the production servers that should fix this issue.

Users should start seeing the desired behavior as soon as the appropriate caches expire.

Whew!  It's now behaving as expected.

Please don't ever break it again.  :) | APPLBN | 761LBN
