Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

I'm going to be upgrading the Altiris server in a few weeks. Will CMS run on the following:

Windows 2008 x64

SQL 2005 SP2



Also I would like to give the server a new name. How will I go about doing this whilst getting the clients to report to this new server?
I also want to migrate the Altiris_Incidents database and not necessarily the other two. Is this something I can attempt without losing the logged calls and history? I'm not necessarily keen on keeping the data from the Altiris and Express databases but just the Incident history. Is this possible?

Altiris NS 6 (CMS) will not run on Windows 2008.
