Yes, a client patch will be available soon on Symantec LU servers. The patch can either be downloaded via LiveUpdateAdministrator or downloaded via SEPM for deployment to the clients using the autoupgrade feature in the console. The patch will not be posted for download by the client directly from Symantec. There are plans to have this cability in future versions, but before we do so, there are some enhancements to the client that we want to make, which will ensure a better user experience. The patch is available today on fileconnect.

I've got to say despite all of the complaints I have been reading on here my experience with this has been good so far.  I think combining everything to one tool is awesome and the reports and information you can get right there is great.  My only real issue so far is lack of guidance on firewall setup.  It seems to me there should be some templates or similar that would lock down the firewall to different levels of security in a standard windows environment.  I know there are always exceptions to deal with but, come on. 

 

JimW, you had replied to my previous thread that you would make a document available.  What has happened to that?

 

Also, do you have the time frame for this patch you said will be available?
