Endpoint Protection

Just installed Endpoint protection 12.1.  Now trying to deploy to new pc's.  the new pc's do not appear - old pc's do.  I tried searching by name and ip address but still can't find them.

Any suggestions?

You mean after SEP has been deployed?

No.  I'm trying to deploy from the server.

Yes,  That is the method but the pc's don't show up.  I tried searching by IP address and pc name as well.

Is it possible they have the Windows firewall enabled, which would block this discovery process? Are they any different from the ones that do work?

There are few tasks that you must do on Windows operating systems to successfully install the client remotely. I would suggest to check pre-requisites on those new PC's prior to install SEP remotely.
