  • 1.  New SEPM server generating old server certificate

    Posted Dec 06, 2013 06:54 PM

Hello, I migrated our old SEP server to a new machine (SEPSV1) with a new name (SEPSV2).   Everything's working fine/All clients are communicating fine.  Only thing I noticed is that when I access the SEPM Web Access (https://SEPSV2:8443), I get a certificate error in the browser because SEPSV2 trying to install the old server's certificate.

How can I resolve this?  Thanks!

    Hello.

@_Brian - still doesn't work after trying to install the certificate because it's installing a certificate that has the name of the old SEP server.

@pete_4u2002 - as you can see. i'm trying to connect to "jango" (new server) but it's tryign to install "bacta" (old server) certificate. image attached.

@Rafeeq - Same result when i go to http://sepmservername:9090 . And I click on download certificate, it loads the old server name certificate.

How do I install a new certificate with the new server name?  Do i just use the Server Certificat Wizard and do a 'generate a new server certifcate' option?  Will that break the connection between serve and all the clients?
