New Server Install: Windows 2008 or Windows 2012?

Looking for tips/suggestions.  Looking to build up a new server box and curious which version of Windows I should use.  Obviously, the best option would be to use Windows 2012 to be on the lastest version, but I also don't want to have further issues than I already have.  I know WIndows 2008 R2 works fine. Anyone using Windows 2012? If so, what is your experience like? Any enhancements over Windows 2008 R2?

Server 2012 (R2 is out now and works with 7.5 SP1) is a fantastic update over 2008 R2. The new centralized management features alone are worth it. Even if you don't take advantage of that, the local server management tools (Server Manager) are also much improved. The only downside is the ridiculous 'modern' full screen start menu, but it's a server and I rarely use the start menu anyway.

Using Server 2012 R2 and SQL 2012, as well. Working well, but a few issues here and there unrelated to the server/sql flavors in place.
