    Hi Solo,

    Go to

    https://fileconnect.symantec.com

put the serial number and download the version

this update is only for manager so no need to update your clients

you need to downoad SEPM only which i believe is SEPM-12.1.4a

Q: Am I required to update to the Symantec Endpoint Protection client?

A: No. Only the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager requires an update. There are no client-side changes

12.1.4a SEPM is the upgrade for the SEPM and is the only one you really need. Clients are NOT affected and do not need to be upgraded to this version.

add fileconnect to your trusted sites list

You dont need java, Java is needed if you want to go with the SEPM download assistant manager,

Ideally it should show a pop up where it would ask you to install java or just go straight with the download....

    Solo,

From your screenshot it looks like the download manager which uses java, you can change your download preference to use HTTPS only if you don't have/want java installed.

Click the "Download Help" link at the top right and you can edit it here.
