I have a question about the Client Install Packages. The current Client Install Packages on my server are from Nov. 30. When I install the application to new clients they get old defintions. Is there a way to update the Client Install Packages so they push out with the latest definitions?

    Thanks in advanced.

How to deploy the Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) client Release Update 5 or later with current virus definitions and intrusion prevention signatures.

Thanks for the reply. I have exported the package and updated the files. Now how do I get that package to show up as a Install Package so I deploy it to clients?

I've done the steps in the link you gave me but I don't see any new Client Install Packages.

You wont have that package inside the sepm.
the packages which are listed in sepm can only be expored
when you export it ,u uncheck single exe , save it and follow the above document to update the virus defs.
We then use the migration and deoployment wizard to push this package to clients.
Inside sepm you can add packages when they are new versions of sepm release

Once you have this package then deploy them to the clients using Migration and deployment wizard.
