  • 1.  NFS being scanned by NS software inventory

    We've got some machines with NFS mounted space that is being scanned by the Altiris software inventory scan, but it should be excluded by default. Anyone know why this might be happening and how to make it stop?

     

    (not sure which community this question should really go to, so my apologies if it doesn't end up ni the right place)

    What version of NS are you using? Are the drives mapped or do they appear as physical drives? Is there a common drive letter used?

    We're using NS version 7.0. The hosts in question are Linux hosts so there is no driver letter, the NFS space is mounted to directories in /opt.
