Hi friends;

    I uninstalled SEPMR4 manually from the build, but my NIC broke after uninstallation and reboot. When I run ipconfig in cmd I get nothing as shown in following screen.

I have tried reboot after this screen, then I entered static IP addresses in TCP\IP properties but it doesnt work.

Go into the registery & check

Go into the registery & check if there is any entry related to teefer2 if yes then delete those entries

And also go into the device manager & uninstall your NIC from the network adapter group & do scan for hardware chnages.

(NOTE) :- The drivers for the NIC should be automatically loaded but in case if that does not happen then you might need the Drivers Cd for your NIC

teefer 2

Solution

I have already deleted all the entries related to teefer2 . but still this error comes I have removed all the network adapters related to SEP, this error was coming before removing those adapters and now also(after removal of teefer 2) this error comes.

Why the ipconfig giving blank output? what does that mean?

It would be great if we could avoid this during uninstall itself, is there anything I need to take care during uninstallation so as to avoid NIC(ipconfig)  failure?

I dont know how IMPOSEBLE spells

I had the same problem two

I had the same problem two days after removing Symantec Corporate Edition and installing Symnatec Endpoint Protection unmanaged client on my laptop.  I ended up removing SEP and reinstalling SCE.  If I want to upgrade back to SEP, will I have the problem again?  If so, what do I do, if I no longer have the driver CDs?
