NIC monitoring disable

Hello Guys,

 

We are running applicaiton on Unix environment and there is a requirment  to disable NIC monitoring. How do we disable NIC monitoring? Does it make sense?

To disable NIC monitoring then disable NIC resources.  Note freezing service group will not disable monitoring, so disabling (to temporary  disable NIC monitoring ) or deleting NIC resource (to permanently   disable NIC monitoring ) are 2 ways to do this.

Thank you very much MIke, We don't want to remove the NIC. Is this how to to disable?

 

hagent -stop  NIC -sys node1

 

or any other way?

List NIC resouces:

hares -list type=NIC

then disabled these resources

hares -disable res_name

 

Stopping NIC agent as you suggested may work too.
