No backup job shown under run or manage backup 

But there is backup scheduled already

Is SSR installed locally or through a Management solution , if locally then there seems to be some issue . 

Try checking if SSr services are started ..

Stop the service for SSR and Symsnap ( if this is SSR 2011 ) or Symtrack ( If this is SSR 2013

Try running a fixinstall.bat from C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec System Recovery.

Restart the service and check if it displays the job.

ususally this relates to .Netframe work.
