No Client Alert Details
Updated: 22 May 2010 | 3 comments
Back in the good old CCS days, it use to alert for each client which was having problems. That alert could be commented on and acknowledged etc.
Now in VBR, although that functionality is there, it appears only to alert on the Master/Media servers and does get anything from the clients.
Does anyone have any experience of this or know of a work around ?
Many Thanks.

Hey Peter,
Under the "Monitors" tab if you click on "Alerts" you'll see a table of all alerts including failed jobs. The failed jobs have a column called "Node" which is the client that the failure occurred on. You can select "Comment" from the action box to add comments and also acknowledge or reset the alert.
Hope that helps. Thanks!

Hi, Thanks for the reply.
Apparently this feature was removed in v6.5 and is replaced in the v6.5.1 update.
The feature is to see, comment on and acknowledge errors from previous backups from all NBU clients.
At present though, the v6.5.1 update was not very successful.
No problem Peter. If you are having problems with the 6.5.1 update feel free to open a support case. We have several additional binaries or patches that can be used that were identified by other customers who have upgraded. if it's not a known issue they will work quickly to get the patch working for you.
