I have 3 domain controllers in 3 different offices, connected via WAN links.  The users share in the other 2 office replilcates to a share on my local server using dfs for backup purposes.  I have selected the local share (not the DFS Root directory) but none of the user folders or files are backed up to tape.  Any suggestions would be helpful.

There were a lot of DFS

There were a lot of DFS backing up issues in 10 and 11.  You should look to 12 and higher.

There are also a lot of best practice tech notes on the support KB too you may want to peruse.  Perhaps there are some known workarounds for 11d?

There is an online portal, save yourself the long hold times. Create ticket online, then call in with ticket # in hand :-) http://mysupport.symantec.com "We backup data to restore, we don't backup data just to back it up."
