  • 1.  No Detection server found at c:\Vontu\protect\updates\..\..\moni

    We are using Symantec DLP 11.1. server trying to upgrade to DLP 11.5. during the installation got the failed with the following error.

    No Detection server found at c:\Vontu\protect\updates\..\..\monitor.ver

    please help us to resolve this.

    Hi;

     

    Can you please try this;

    Deploy_monitor_update.bat must be run from a subdir of C:\Vontu\Protect\updates

    Hi,

    Please refer Symantec™ Data Loss Prevention Upgrade Guide and Database requirement,

    First Try to upgrade Enforce server then upgrade Detection server.

    If you already upgraded Enforce, and are trying a local upgrade copy the monitor.ver file to the upgrade directory and try the upgrade again.  It should successfully complete.

    As Manoj mentioned I strongly recommend to follow step by step teh upgrade guide when upgrading to 11.5 manually. Try to uncompress the jar file into /DLP_home/Protect/updates/detectionupgrade11.5/.

    Files may be extracted into a folder named DLP. Copy all thosse files and folders to the detectionupgrade11.5 folder and re run the upgrade.
