No emailed reports

This issue has been solved. See solution.
SEPM Version: 11.0.2000.1567
Created a couple scheduled reports to be emailed to our support staff. Confirmed that the correct SMTP IP address is configured (no username/password necessary). Reports run as scheduled but does not send an email. Verified that the "TO" email address is correct. Checked the IIS SMTP "Badmail" folder and found it within. Apparently, it does not like the "FROM" address to be SYSTEM@*servername*.
I have a 2nd SEPM manager, located externally which runs MR4 and I receive the scheduled reports via email just fine.
Is there a way to change the "FROM" address? Or does someone have an alternative solution? Thanks

Hi,
To use email alerts, you need to first configure SEPM to use your mail server, then configure the alerts as needed.
Configure SEPM to connect to the mail server
In the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager console, click Admin.
Click Server.
Select which Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager that you want to send alerts from.
Click Edit Server Properties.
In the Server Properties dialog box, click the Mail Server tab.
Enter the IP address, host name, or domain name of the email server in the Server Address text box.
Enter the user name of the account on the email server in the User Name text box.
In the Server Properties dialog box, enter the password of an account on the email server in the Password text box.
Click OK.
Configure email alerts
Click Monitors.
Click Notifications.
Click the View Notifications tab.
Click the Notification conditions tab.
Click Add.
Choose the event that you want to be alerted of...such as Virus definition out-of date.
Enter the requested information in the window that pops up.
Click OK.
Also try the following :-
- Log in to the SEPM
- From the Admin tab -> Servers -> Server name -> Edit server properties -> Mail server tab
- Click on the "Help" button and input the name as "User@domain-name.com"(As an example.). The name used has to be a valid user name that belongs to the domain.

According to the
According to the documentation the address was hardcoded as of MR4, and cannot be changed. Since you are on the older build there should be a way to change this. I will get back to you later with an answer.

Alright, found the
Alright, found the workaround/fix. Our IIS SMTP server accepts internal anonymous requests, so was putting nothing in the username/password field of the Mail Server tab. On a hunch, I put in the desired "FROM" email address in the username field and tried it. Sure enough, it worked like a charm.
