No history in DLO Admin Console
Updated: 22 May 2010 | 4 comments
Hi,
I have a strange problem in my DLO console. I have no history from previous backups. If I click the "history" button, the tab appears empty.
- However, alerts (errors, warnings, info) are reported correctly under the Alerts section.
- If i check the history log on the DLO agent side (on the laptops), I can see the history.
- Finally, on the DLO consolde logs, I find this error:
11/16/06 16:07:16 dloconsoleu.exe 5136: errorreport.cpp( 327 ) FAILED ASSERTION: common\foundation_ace\base\datetime.cpp( line: 193 ): false && TEXT( "VariantTimeToSystemTime FAILED." )
Note: the DLO agents are in French and the console is in English.
Any help welcome.
Thanks.

What is the current version of the Backup Exec (Service pack and Hotfixes installed).
Does the restore job show any data that was recently backed up?
Verify if the storage location has the data.

Current version: Backup Exec for Windows Servers 10.1.5629 (10-D)
Installed Updates: be5629RSP2_285482 & be5629RHF43_285983
DLO agent: 2.05
DLO version: DLO 133B58A
The DLO agent shows the correct data in the storage location. I can correctly restore the data from the DLO agent console.
From the DLO console on the server: I see only a empty history and a empty "restore" tab.
Yes, the storage location has the data.
Note about this: i did not create "storage location" as defined in the software but rather the backups are copied into network User Data Folder. Could this be the problem ?
Hello,
Please refer to the following technote to repair the dlo database
How to run a Backup Exec Desktop and Laptop Option (DLO) database repair when the original database is found to be inconsistent/corrupt
http://support.veritas.com/docs/279208
Thanks
That did not change anything, tejashree.
Also, I tried playing with a storage location but it did not change anything either.
