No more 7.0 on 2003?

This issue has been solved. See solution.
I've been trying to get CMS installed on a Windows 2003 machine for a customer. No matter which way I go about it, it seems like SIM will lead you to install SIM v7.1 which will only allow you to create installation packages for Altiris products based on 7.1. This is something of an annoyance. Is there a way around this?

There are two different
There are two different version of SIM Version 7.0.715.0 is for CMS 7.0 and "SIM Version 7.1.66.0" is for 7.1. You should be able to download the SIM 7.0 using your serial no. If you download the trail version for the symantec website you will get SIMfor 7.1

I don't have a serial number
as I am a consultant looking to install a demo version for a client. They are possibly looking to implement netx, which is still on 7.0. Any other method of obtaining the 7.0?

Consider use Altiris 7.1 for your demos and POCs. The 7.1 version has a lot of product enhancements and features that are very usefull to many customers.

Thanks for that but netx is still on 7.0 so if I am demoing 7.1 they will get a false representation of the product I will be delivering.

you can work around this by attempting to download DCM 3.2 product from http://dell.symantec.com/dell-downloads page - this will actually bring you to page where you would be able to download SIM 7.0.819 (you won't need to install DCM after this, just get SIM of 7.0 version).
