This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi all,

i'am upgrading our PD - servers to version 6.5.
Our oldes PD version in production is PD 6.1 MP2 P01. On a testsystem i made an upgrade to the PD version 6.2.0.

After the upgrade i tried to logon to the web-ui with the already under version 6.1 MP2 P01 registered users. It works without problems. After rebooting the server login on the web-ui was no more longer possible. I get always the message "Invalid user name or password"
Login to the server as root is possible.

What can i do? I already started the ldap with /etc/init.d/ldap start but login to the web-ui do not work.

Is there any possibility to create a new accout without login to the web-ui? Or is there something else i can do or i have to do?

Thx in advance ... Stefan

ok, found out what causes the problem.

in the file /etc/hosts there was missing the entry:

127.0.0.1 HOSTNAME  #puredisk specific entry (for AT)
