Yesterday I installed and configured Endpoint and LUA and when am I going to do a manual download in step 2 says that "There are no new updates available for download request that matches criteria"  When I have not downloaded any updates

Could you help me?

 Are you selecting your product properly?

Yes, in the first step select the product, but not in the second I get nothing

What's the ver of your LUA?

Or is there any other error msg?

Version: 2.2.1.13

And in LUA  is OK, All msg are Succesfull

Be carefull while selecting your product
If you choose wrong product then only this problem should happen

I have no error message. Only in step 2 says "There are no new updates available for download request that matches criteria"

In a virtual machine, I got it configured the same and if it works

You could help me configure LUA and SEP. I think that i don't configure correctly, though the "source server" and "Distribution Centers" is "Ready"

Uninstall the Live Update and download the latest one from Symantec web site. Install the Live Update setup. Restart the machine. Chek for steady connection of your Internet. Run the live update.

 It could also mean a product error? if comparison is not happening

unfortunately I see that the most of the times the users install LUA without a specific reasons instead of just using the SEP Manager that is already able to manage the contents deployment in the most of the installations.

Please, let us know what is your expectation from LUA, maybe it is possible to simplify your SEP infrastructure, improve the performance and resolve your problem.
How many Symantec products? How many sites? how many clients in total and in each sites?

I don't know if you did it but installing the Manager and the LUA in the same machine is generally the worst practice because there is no load balancing that is the main LUA target.

My expectation was to centralize downloads. If this is possible with the SEP, then perfect
I have 250 clients and a website.

u reinstalled the live up date server, i thing yours existing live up date server corrupted.
