  • 1.  No package could be found for the selected Agent policy

    I went to turn on an agent setting today to Uninstall the patch agent from some PCs.  It enabled 3 other settings automatically, One for x86 one for x64 and one for Linux.  When I click on any of them I get "No package could be found for the selected Agent policy" at the top of the window in a pink bar.  The client does not get installed.

     

    What I have done:

    Cloned the Default "Software Update Plug-in Uninstall" setting/policy

    Entered a target group and enabled it

     

    That's about it

    I really hope someone can help me!

    I do not believe we recommend cloning the rollout type policies for PMS as this action cause the hidden policies to become visible, which may well be the cause of this problem.

    To verify this, please select the original policy to see if it throws the same error or not, and if it doesnt, simply assign the relevant target to it and then enable it.
