Client Management Suite

i have a package wich cannot be downloaded tot the clients unless i change the package location to the default download location.
So i changed it to c:\xxx , wich worked fine...

But then, we also have package servers, also not possible to download to default locatio, so i change the location for that package on package servers to c:\xxx ==> download to the package servers is ok.
Now the problem : the clients who get the package from the package servers, cannot download the package, with this error :

al the other packages + clients wich connect the the main altiris server :  no problem.

anyone a solution?

in the policy you can change the location again for the pc

i know, thats what i have done, it works from altiris server to pc but not from package server to pc...

you have change it on the site/pack-server and you need to change it on the policy in advanced => the location  on  destination computer

the location should be change 2 places ones for the servers "that package on package servers  " and ones for the pc "policy"

that is the problem, when you change it on both places, it wont download from the package server...
strange...

I run 7.1 and I have change path on the site/pack-server in All Resources => Package => Software Package =>edit the softeare packet => and change Package Destination Location on package servers (leave blank for default): to D:\sw\cs5st
and you need to change it on the policy in advanced => the location  to C:\sw\cs5

and it solved my problem for Adobe Design Standard CS5 DK
